  • Was George Washington ever in the house?
George Washington crossed the Occoquan River on the Ferry. His horse was upset and the carriage went into the river. The house was the Ferryman's house so it stands to reason, while the Ferryman fished the carriage out of the river, George would be sent to the house to drip dry.

  • What on earth is gelato?
Italy's Finest ice cream - 98%fat free with all natural ingredients and no artificial flavors or colors. It is lower in sugars too. Don't confuse it with italian ice which is shaved ice flored with syrups. Gelato is true ice cream....in fact it can be called the kiss of death, it is that gooooooood!

  • Do you have a ghost?
Yes, we call her Molly. Molly doesn't like the dark; if we shut off lights, the lights will be on when we arrive in the morning. So we must leave one light on each nght. This light went out mechanically and until we could get it fixed she pushed storage boxes into the middle of the floor.
