So in preparation for those back deck sitting evenings we have started to stock our attic with some great new Chardonnay from Spain and Sauvignon Blanc from Chile. Hints of Banana in one and Lemon-lime zest in the other...great for cheese and crackers and relaxing....... and now you don't have to wait till you get home

Craft Beers: We have limited editions & special spring seasonals at a great price. All world cup award winning beers. Consistently scoring A+ B+. Check them out in the brew room (coffees, teas, and beers) ...David our beer expert is always trying to bring in new and great craft beers like Founders Double Trouble, an imperial IPA with a smooth bitter finish as well as a slight honey sweetness; or Weyerbacher's Slam Dunkel, banana and clove hazed leather-brown color so incredibly smooth and crisp. |
Stonewall Kitchen's and Robert Rothchild's mustards and sauces will compliment any beer, cheese and dips. Check out our shelves....they are stocked for the grilling season....tasty sauces and marinades for fish, steaks, burgers or chicken....
Cheese and dips...and while the grill is heating up, serve some of our great new cheeses. We have just added to our dairy case some wonderful goat cheese from Cherry Glen Farms in Boyds Md. Try Monocacy Silver, a tangy more flavorful than most Brie, ripens to creamy internal consistency....the while mold exterior is great to consume
Monocacy Ash...two layer cheese with an edible ash coating and ash line through the center..so decadent it stands right up there with champagne and dark chocolate.

Nestled in the Oldest Home (1750) in Occoquan at 406 Mill St. Tastefully Yours, your gourmet market, is a haven of rich tastes for your palate, your eyes and your soul. Once you have stepped in the door your senses will respond to smells of rich coffee, exotic teas, fine wines. You will delight at the mere suggestion of a gelato, that creamy delectable Italian ice cream, or rich homemade muffins or scones bursting with raisins, chocolate chips or brownies to die for!
Walking about the rooms of this quaint old home you will come upon many tempting and one of a kind product to add and use in your own cooking at home. From cobbler mixes, to rich creamy soups to marmalades made not just for toast but also for entree recipes, you will always find something interesting and unique.
The upstairs houses a wine attic of boutique wines and beers from around the world. Names you might not recognize, but tastes you will never forget. A visit into the tea and coffee plantation room, also upstairs, will offer you many choices of loose and bagged teas, whole bean and ground coffees from around the world. Whether you're looking for rich, robust in flavor, soothing or exotic you are sure to find it among our many varieties.
